Since 2019, I’ve been tracking the books I read and curating a list of what’s next. At the start of 2024, I set a clear goal: read 20 books by the end of the year. To stay consistent, I built a simple habit—reading for at least one hour daily.
What started as a small goal turned into a transformative journey. By focusing solely on the input—showing up for an hour every day—I unlocked unexpected momentum. Instead of fixating on numbers, I trusted the process, and the results followed. That initial goal of 20 books? It’s now a distant milestone. As of today, I’ve read 46 books in 2024, more than doubling my expectations!
Reading has become an integral part of my daily routine, fueling my personal and professional growth. I’ve since adjusted my goal for the year to 45 books (that I achieved on december 16, 2024)—a leap I never thought possible when I began. Now, I’m working toward a bigger challenge: maintaining this habit for 1,000 days, curious to see just how far consistent input can take me.
